Weekend with our kiddos

Two happy dogs. Moxy and Kimber..;)
We drove to Tulsa and spent the day and night with Marti and Hunter. They took us to the Philbrook Art Gallery where the Egyptian Exhibit was on display. It was AWESOME!
Then we came back to their house and kicked back before dinner.
Hunter..:)
Marti made us a spicy chicken dish in her wok. Very good! Then after dinner Marti and I saw the movie Eat, Pray, Love... Great girl time..:)
Very happy Momma.....:)
Then K and I got up REALLY early and drove to OKC to watch Tanner start his Tri-Athlon. Here we stand with T on the beach.
First he swam 15 hundred meters...
With a whole bunch of people!
Early morning sunrise.
Then he biked 25 miles. Ken was in charge of taking pictures, and Tanner's transition from water to bike was so fast, he was GONE!
Then he went from bike to full speed ahead, running 6.8 miles!
The Fam Fan Club!
Tanner finished the race in second place of his age group. Congrats Tanner!

That's a proud dad right there.
Tanner gathering his bike and stuff. Late in September he's going to do a half ironman which is double all these numbers. WOW!
The Lean Machine with the Tanner biking Tan!
When we got home this afternoon it was still HOT!

When the Cook's are away the Elk will play

When we left for CO, we decided to put one of our trail cam's out pointing towards the house. Look how bad our elk can be. See Ken's fish stringer hanging off his antlers.

Here they hear us driving up.. Surprise!
Porch gathering
Our friend who watches our house when we leave, put cattle panels across the front porch so they couldn't play.
Wanting on my porch, they broke my sink from Mexico and bit into several of my cacti. Ouch, a mouthful of stickers I hope.

When they couldn't lay on the front porch any longer they went to the barn. That's when he found the fish stringer.
he wore the stringer for several days before getting it off.

Here, I did have canis growing next to the house.

Eating my flowers!
It's hard to wrap my brain around this picture. My sling shot has come in handy...!
Knock knock!
