The wind blew the snow into the cracks of our stone. |
Ken took this picture this morning while a blanket of snowed covers Tarbone Ranch. The black spots way down there are the buffalo.
Moxy enjoyed playing in the snow a lot. |
The black dots you see are the buffalo again. One of them is our buffalo February who survived the fire.
Peaceful..
5 months after the fire. Here she is, Ms February. This is her good side. Her hair is starting to grow back.
She still struggles to walk. I noticed she still has a couple of open wounds or open cracks, it looks raw anyway. You can kinda see them in this picture.. So I'm thinking they heal and she'll walk or lies down and they crack back open. But look at how much her hair has grown back. She also has joined the rest of the herd. I worried about her last night getting cold in the snow. But when we woke this morning they were in front of the house eating the hay Ken had put out for them.
I love this buffalo! February is soon to be March... =)
Black & White. The skeleton of trees burned in the fire stand out in the snow.
