Our first hunt of the season. Kyle was pretty happy about getting this cow elk and being able to put meat on the table for his family. Life is good!

Coming from different directions and meeting up at Tarbone Ranch, these two friends had a successful weekend. Pickup full of venison for families. A very good thing.
Jim and Kyle had plenty of stories to tell before and after the hunt.. Isn't that what friendship is all about? Indeed it is... =)
They couldn't have picked a better time of the year to come and hunt. The bull elk was in full speed ahead. Bugling and putting on a show. While we sit on the deck and make a few memories while viewing the beautiful Wichita Mountains.
